MAPS/CCM Conference THIS Saturday (2/7/15)

It’s finally that time of year again when MAPS as well as Chicanos/Latinos for Community Medicine at UW (UW CCM) are collaborating to host the Annual Pre-Health Conference on Saturday, February 7th from 9:30AM-3:30PM, open to both high school students and undergraduates!

The theme of our conference is “Exploring the Value of Health Care,” which will focus deeply into the role and commitments that health care providers must fulfill in order to serve their patients and their community, as well as understanding the “upstream” causes to sickness that are related to the social determinants of health.

Expect keynote speakers, workshops, networking, and much much more!
