SUMMARY:PHPC: Seattle Childrens' Toy Drive
DESCRIPTION:Hi all! Are you ready to get into the Holiday spirit?? Well here is your chance 🙂 \nPHPC is hosting a toy drive for Seattle Children’s Hospital next week. We will be tabling in front of the Husky Union Building (HUB) from 10:30-3:00 Monday – Friday to accept donations. We are primarily collecting new toy donations\, but we will also love to accept monetary donations as well. \nPlease keep in mind:\nSeattle Children’s is very conscious of the health of their patients and only accept new toys still in packaging or with tags attached. However\, if you would like to donate GENTLY USED items at our toy drive\, we will accept them and donate them to one of Seattle Children’s Bargain Boutiques and all proceeds from your donations will benefit Seattle Children’s patients. We look forward to collecting your donations! \nIf you would like to personally donate a new toy (either to us or to Seattle Children’s directly) here is the link to their restrictions and wish list:\nhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1hZ1WIgx9HNYW9MVDNfRl9XTms/view?usp=sharing

SUMMARY:Everybody Every Body Fashion Show Model Sign Up!
DESCRIPTION:Model Survey: http://tinyurl.com/ebebmodels2017\nAvailable until December 9th @ 11:59 PM. \nThank you for your interest in volunteering to model in the show! Last year\, there were 200 models who participated. The ASUW Student Health Consortium’s 9th annual Everybody Every Body Fashion Show aims to create dialogue around the discourse of bodies and identities. After eight successful years of creating awareness around eating disorders\, we wanted to continue the conversation to include race\, ethnicity\, gender identity\, sexual orientation\, ability\, health\, and wellness. We want to focus on identities and celebrate what makes you healthy\, beautiful\, and unique! We hope that every”BODY” involved in the production and viewing of our show can walk away with a more positive body image and greater self-confidence – no matter who you are. \nModels will be matched with local retailers according to their fashion interests\, and will walk on the runway with their retailer group in celebration of our bodies and identities. Models generally love their experience and highly recommend that others participate as well! \nThe Everybody Every Body Fashion Show will take place on Tuesday\, February 21st from 6:30-8:30pm (the art gallery will be on display from 5:30-9:30) with hair/makeup in the afternoon. Models are expected to be available for a meeting 1/9\, 1/10\, OR 1/11 (in the evening) AND later during Winter quarter for model fittings and general meetings. \nHere are photos from EBEB 2016: https://www.facebook.com/pg/asuwseattle/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1093840974013209 \nIf you have any questions\, please contact:\nMeili Powell\, Director of Programming: asuwbdpg@uw.edu\nNguyen Huynh\, Director of Student Health Consortium: asuwshc@uw.ed
